    Position Title: Senior Accountant

    Location: Cartersville, Ga

    Salary: $70,000-$85,000k (based on experience and qualifications)

    Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm (40 Hours Minimum)

This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop their accounting skills while playing a vital role in various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance!

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    · Account Reconciliations: Utilize your keen eye for detail to perform all general account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve differences between records and books to maintain accurate financial records.

    · Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions, while understanding vendor terms to support our financial operations.

    · COGS Calculation: Play a key role in ensuring all direct materials, labor, and overhead costs are accurately reflected in our monthly COGS reports, contributing to our product profitability.

    · Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries with precision, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

    · Accruals and Prepayments: Apply your knowledge of accrual accounting to manage timing differences in expenses and revenues effectively.

    · Depreciation and Amortization: Calculate and record depreciation and amortization for equipment and intangible assets, gaining insight into asset management.

    · Variance Analysis: Proficient in identifying and explaining the reasons behind discrepancies between actual costs and projected costs.

    · Data Analysis: Leverage your analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends, performance metrics, and financial insights to help make informed business decisions.

    · Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and sales, to ensure financial data aligns with our operational goals.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

    · Strong understanding of GAAP principles and a commitment to ethical practices.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis).

    · High ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality.

    · Excellent problem skills to identify discrepancies in financial records and find solutions.

    · Attention to detail ensuring accuracy in financial reports.

    · Strong communication abilities, with a collaborative mindset for cross-departmental teamwork.
