Fabulous Fins to cars
Built for a Crisis, this discussion will cover them all. Join us as we welcome Christo Datini, Manager of the General Motors Design Archive & Special Collections, for an overview and history of GM Design. He will provide a peek into the archive’s imagery as related to the cars currently on loan from General Motors Heritage Collection – a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, a 1971 Chevrolet Vega, and a 1976 Chevrolet Chevette. The Savoy Cafe will be open late for those wishing to enjoy a meal prior to the event.
Admission to the program is complimentary for members. For non-member adults, the price of admission is $15, for youth ages 3 - 12 it is $5, and complimentary for ages 2 and under. Savoy is located at 3 Savoy Lane in Cartersville, GA, 30120.

Christo Datini is the Manager of the General Motors Design Archive & Special Collections. A professional archivist by trade, he has been a leader in GM’s efforts to document, preserve, and promote its global heritage for more than 20 years. In his current role, Christo’s team is custodian to a vast repository of artwork, photography, and ephemera that illuminates the history of creative design at GM, as it grew from humble origins under its first leader, the legendary Harley Earl, to become the influential and innovative institution it is today.
