Get ready for a special field trip for adults for our Adult Summer Reading Program! This is the second part of our outing to Red Top Mountain State Park for ranger-led activities for the day. For our Animal Encounter Program, we will join a ranger to learn about native and invasive animals. We'll see furs, skulls, and replica scat of different animals, as well as live animal ambassadors!
Bring plenty of water and remember to pack a lunch for an afternoon picnic between our morning hike and afternoon program, if you are attending both programs! If you're only planning to come to the Animal Encounter Program, you're welcome to meet us for a picnic lunch before the event at 12pm! You will need your own transportation to and from Red Top Mountain.
This event is free, but sign-up for each event is required for attendance! You may sign up for one or both of the Red Top Mountain events. When you sign up, we will send you instructions for the day of the event, including our picnic. If you are unable to attend, please let us know so that we can give your spot to another patron. Adults only for this tour please! Registration will open on 6/22/21.
