Cherie Wasit is a Strengths based leadership consultant and coach. She has over 12 years experience developing leaders through training, coaching and consulting from North Georgia and around the world. She is passionate about investing in strong leaders that build better communities in their home, work, schools, and places of worship.
Cherie is dedicated to making leadership development opportunities affordable and accessible to individuals and businesses that are looking to invest in their greatest asset- their people. In keeping with this mission she hosts a local leadership conference, facilitates leadership programs with several Chambers and serves her clients with on going team development programs and executive coaching.
Cherie has had the honor of working with courageous leaders in the United Nations, several Afghanistan NGOs, multimillion-dollar US companies, nonprofit boards, small businesses, entrepreneurs, pastors, teachers, artists, and students.
Cherie is the mother of a spunky 14-year-old daughter and soon to be stepmom to three wonderful boys. She holds multiple certifications in leadership development and training, a BS in Communications and is currently working on her Masters of Applied Leadership and Global Management. She is also a licensed minister and leads the Children’s ministry at her church. She gratefully serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Mountain Area Christian Academy. She also directs the Blue Ridge Turkey Trot 5k Charity Race.
