Cass High School Band is again participating in the Blood Assurance Battle of the Bands competition by hosting a blood drive on Friday, July 27 from 3 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The band that collects the most donations by August 15th will win a $1,500 scholarship. Cass High School placed 1st in last year's competition earning $1,500 for the band program. Donors can support the band by donating at the July 27th drive at Cass High School or by donating at the Cartersville Donor Center, located at 334 Cherokee Place. If donating at the center, donors need to be sure to let the Blood Assurance staff know their donation is in support of the Cass High School Colonels.
