    Event Description:

    Dave Simpson, Executive Director of Smith-Gilbert Gardens in Kennesaw, will share his favorite plants that thrive in heat.  
     

    Dave has over 20 years of professional horticulture experience with a master’s in Plant and Environmental Sciences from Clemson University. He is also an ISA certified Arborist. Before coming to Smith-Gilbert Gardens, he served as the Planting Director for Trees Atlanta where he specialized in urban forestry and green infrastructure managing the Beltline Arboretum and working with 14 metro Atlanta municipalities and community partners to plant and care for over 6,000 trees annually.
