We are joining with Phoenix Air, Bartow Business Contractors Connection, WBHF, Community Foundation, Walmart, and the Daily Tribune News and McStatts’ Printing to help the hungry in our community by sponsoring the 4th Annual Thanksgiving Can-A-Thon at the Cartersville Airport on November 13 from 4PM to 7PM. Our efforts will help the following foodbanks: Salvation Army of Cartersville, North Bartow Community Services of Adairsville, Harvest House of Cartersville, Bread of Life of Cartersville, and the New Beginnings Food Outreach of Acworth.
Please come out the day of the event for fun, food (hamburgers and hotdogs), and giveaways every hour! Walmart is providing the grand prize: an Apple iPad! Please bring your kids to see the exciting airplanes and amazing airport. WBHF will be live on-site during the entire event.
If you want to drop off your food early, you may drop off your food items at the Chamber, Walmart, WBHF, and Blood Assurance.
