Join us for: "The New Workforce: Are You Ready?"
Workforce and talent development have been and continue to be the driving force in Georgia’s economic growth. Location decisions and business expansions have shifted from primarily real estate focused to people focused over the 21st century, and with technological advances and changing dynamics of how and where people work, the consideration to find a qualified, educated workforce has only increased.
And that was all before the pandemic.
Now, after over a year of lockdowns, quarantines, remote work, “essential” designations, and unemployment - Georgia is still recovering. Our workforce has had to adapt and find new ways to gain skills, education, and training. And now, more than ever, business leaders are looking to innovative solutions to compete for talent and find workers with the in-demand competencies needed to be successful.
We are looking forward to a lively discussion on how the University System of Georgia and its partners are working to support businesses and communities across the state with customized data and resources for student recruitment, degree attainment, and new programs.
