Leading Sustainable Construction
Through a guided tour of the Gerdau Cartersville Mill and presentations on
BIM and the steel market, learn how structural steel products are manufactured, applied in construction planning and erecting, and fit into the global marketplace of materials.
This unique SteelDay event will give participants a view of how to better utilize the resources available for efficient and ecologically responsible project construction.
Who’s Invited
The Georgia SteelDay Tour is designed forArchitects, Engineers, General Contractors and Students, though other construction professionals - including steel industry professionals - are welcome to register for this event.
This event is registered with AIA CES.

with presentations at 10:00 a.m.
Tour is expected to conclude at 3:00 p.m.

Cartersville GA
Buses will take participants to the Gerdau Cartersville Mill, returning to the conference center at the conclusion of the tour.
All necessary safety gear will be provided, but guests are required to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Jewelry is not allowed within the mills, and should be left at home.
