Come and join us for an enjoyable scientific winter break! Each day, we will engage in hands-on activities that provide an added dose of fun.
ACTIVITES: 11 AM - 3 PM
Monday- Play with red, green + blue light filters to decode a secret message.
Tuesday - Can you predict what color rocks will glow under an ultra violet light? Participants can take home a glow necklace (while supplies last).
Wednesday - Help make a Titanoboa (giant ancient snake) and learn about snake back bones.
Thursday - Make a mold of a fossil in clay and take it home with you.
Friday - Look for sunspots and solar prominences through the telescope in the Observatory. Take home a pinhole projector (while supplies last).
