The Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that bids are prepared accurately and presented to customers on time.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year plus bonus opportunities.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Ability to drive to sites as required: Office is located in Calhoun, GA 30701

Duties
- Review blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for cost estimation.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budget and implement cost control measures as needed.
- Prepare estimates for submission to customers for bid solicitation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide informed recommendations for Alternates & VE Options during the estimating process.
- At least 2 years’ experience estimating for the construction industry or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Stack CT, Bluebeam or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and collaboration with team members.
- Familiarity with cost control methods and techniques in the construction industry.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
