MetroAtlanta Ambulance Promotes Josh Everett to
Operations Manager for Bartow County
MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service is pleased to announce the promotion of Adairsville, GA native Josh Everett to the position of EMS Operations Manager for Bartow County. Mr. Everett is a native of Adairsville, a graduate of Adairsville High School and currently resides in Adairsville with his two Children Rylan and Avery.
He began his career in 2008 with the Bartow County Fire Department before coming to MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service where he served as a Paramedic and Field Training Officer before being promoted to Operations Supervisor in 2017. His education includes a Fire Science degree from Georgia Northwestern Technical College in 2010 and a Paramedic and a Critical Care Paramedic Certificate from the Metro Atlanta EMS Academy in 2014. In addition, he holds several professional certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
MetroAtlanta Ambulance President Pete Quinones stated, “We are excited to have Josh leading our professional staff in Bartow County. He brings a wealth of experience to the position and is extremely familiar with our operating system. With the growth happening in Bartow County we wanted to have an individual with his expertise to lead our team to mitigate risk as best we can and to continue to create a safe and healthy working environment for our growing staff.”
Mr. Everett has a great team of EMS professionals at MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service and working closely with other local public safety agency officials will be a great asset in ensuring the wellness, health and safety of Bartow County citizens. He will also be an integral part of the SafeKids Bartow Coalition- a nonprofit organization working to help families and communities keep kids safe from injuries.
