Cartersville, GA – Piedmont Cartersville is actively seeking compassionate individuals to join our hospital volunteer program.
Hospital volunteers are the heart of our healthcare facility, dedicating their time to support the hospital and enrich the lives of our local community.
“At Piedmont, our mission is to make a positive difference in every life we touch,” said Phoebe Stieber, Executive Director of Hospital Operations at Piedmont Cartersville. “Our volunteers are essential to achieving this mission, and their unwavering dedication makes a profound impact every day.”
Volunteers at Piedmont Cartersville play a vital role in enhancing the experience for patients, visitors, and guests, while also providing invaluable support to our staff, nurses, and physicians.
We offer two volunteer programs: an
Adult Volunteer Program for individuals aged 18 and older, and a
Teen Volunteer Program during the summer months for younger volunteers eager to make a difference.
We are currently seeking volunteers for various roles throughout the hospital. Shifts are available most days of the week, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. While a background in healthcare is beneficial, it is not a requirement – anyone with a passion for helping others is welcome!
“Many people have discovered a newfound desire to connect and contribute to their community,” said Stieber. “Becoming a hospital volunteer is a wonderful way to give back and make a meaningful difference.”
